The following rules
have been agreed by the committee for 2010:
As a member of the
club we are enforcing a few rules this year. These are
by no means onerous and are adopted to ensure all members
are treated fairly. If you find you cannot fulfil your
requirements at any time we ask you to contact one of
the Trustees below immediately. Disregarding these notes
could result in immediate suspension from the club. The
decision of the Trustees will be final.
Each year we
are allocated a number of dates for home meetings where
we are all responsible for ensuring it is a success. These
dates will be available early in the new year and you
will be expected to attend ALL, including the day prior
to the meeting, for track preparation.
At least 10 days before
the scheduled meetings and work parties we must be told
of any non attendance The Trustees will consider your
situation at the Thursday meeting. You will also be expected
to be available on the same evening to discuss the outcome.
On the same evening
all members will be given marshalling or other duties.
If a marshalling point you will be told who you are working
with. It is up to you to ensure these duties are undertaken
either by a nominated person whom you organise or through
friends and family. Your helper must be over 16 years.
Members will be signed
in and out at all Work Parties by the Chairman or other
appointed person. Work Parties will normally commence
1pm on the day prior to the home race meeting.
You will be required
to hand in your AMCA licence to the Chairman. You will
then be allowed to sign on. Once the meeting is finished,
track dismantled and litter removed to the Trustees satisfaction
your AMCA licence will be returned. Please note that late
entries at home meetings are not normally allowed as you
are expected to attend.
Special dispensation
to the above may be given to NMCSC members undertaking
bona fide AMCA Championship, Veteran or IMBA rounds by
prior agreement with the Trustees.
Repeat
offenders to the above will be removed from the club.
This has been a grey area for a number of years and hopefully
with full support and commitment it will improve.
